Here is a picture of a flat log-periodic dipole array (LPDA).  It is made from copper tape and plastic sign board.  Cable ties hold the coaxial cable in place.  I designed it to operate from 494MHz to 806MHz.  Its critical parameters are t=0.9 and s=0.167.
